Ecotones is an exploration of texture and space, touching the realms of ambient, experimental, and neoclassical. Largely inspired by the nature of Iowa, these songs seek to capture the emotional experience of retreating into nature as a form of escape. While some songs embrace the calm and peacefulness that nature has to offer, others encourage a sense of wonder and a journey into the unknown.
